I made this for my best friend's wedding. She choose two sheers that the liked the embroidered pattern of. It was my job to then turn two rectangular curtains into one oval veil.
There is a seam in the middle between the two pieces so that the flowers go in the same direction in the front and back. The crown is slightly shaped so that there are fewer folds hanging in front of the face. Notice that it will not lay completely flat in image #1. I cut and shaped the border around the curve of the hem and filled in the edges with flowers from the scraps and with a scallop pattern on my embroidery machine. I ended up using two threads though the eye of the needle to get a stitch that looked like the original stitch.
