Gentleman's waist coat

This is a waistcoat made for a gentleman friend of mine. Its made from a sari fabric with iridescent glass buttons. It is fully lined partly with the remainder of the sari fabric and part with a matching lining fabric. I carefully made the border follow the neckline and the hem which turned into a bit of a trick because the fabric was very badly off grain.

I dont have a picture of the back because my flash didnt go and the picture of the back is too dark to post. The back includes matching lacing loops also made from the same sari so that the waistcoat can be worn tightly as was the fashion.

The jabot in the picture is his own.
