Grr Costume from Invader Zim

After watching the Invader Zim series, my husband and I agreed that we were living with our own little Grr sometimes. So it only seemed natural to make him a Grr Costume for Halloween.

I thought that making the can shaped hat would be the hardest part but it came out perfect the first time so it ended up that it was very easy. The part that ended up being hard was getting the shoulder joints to look like spheres. I’m still not completely satisfied about how they came out.

The costume is made of polar fleece, knit, foam and polyester batting. The back buttons closed. I still have the corrected pattern if anyone is interested in purchasing a copy.
