Will o' the Wisp Headdress

This is the headdress from my Will o' the Wisp costume. It is my first attempt at a lighted costume. Will o' the Wisp is conceptually a very easy costume; create one glowing ball of light. But when you have arms and legs and a face it makes the implementation challenging. I created this costume largely out of scrap fabric. Because it was pure fantasy and didn’t need to conform any conventions in construction it was a great project for using up left over little bits. My two goals where to use fabric that where black light reactive and that would transmit light.
