Tatted Hair Cover

This was tatted to go with my 1847 Vistiting Costume http://www.couturecostume.com/item469.html and my bonnet http://www.couturecostume.com/item369.html

The pattern is based on one called "Olden Times" by Gun Blomqvist & Elwy Persson from Tatting: Patterns and Designs. I modified the pattern to fit over the curve of a head by ommiting certain motifs. It is made from burgandy tatting cotton and velvet ribbon in the same color.
