Wedding Petticoat

This petticoat was made for my wedding dress. It is made from 12 yards of a super stiff nylon net sewn onto a yoke much like a ballet skirt. The outer layer is made from a satin faced synthetic that has the body of a paper taffeta. The satin turned out so wonderfully that I want to go back in time and buy the whole bolt for future petticoats. The petticoat weighs almost nothing but is stiff enough to stand up on it's own.
