Courtesan Ghost

This costume barrows from several part of the 18th century. Rather than being a true historical costume it is Halloween pageantry.

The ruffled shorts, fishnet tights and wig where purchased. I made the panniers, corset and dress. The dress is made of two fabrics. A sheer drapery material and a lace that decorates the hem, front edge and is used to make the cuffs. The front of the dress was pinned to the corset as it would have been. It was one of those projects that went really well from beginning to end and went together quickly
