Wool Doublet

This doublet is one of my very earliest costumes that I made for someone else, and this is the only picture I have of it. It was made from black wool and lined with cotton. It has silver buttons in groups of three down the front. The gentleman had a fairly specific notion about what he wanted but I still did a little research to confirm some details about cut and construction.
