Renaissance Weaving woman

Here is a costume I made for Renaissance Pleasure Fair. The finial photo is my original research. I made some changes to the design as noted in the image. It consists of two green cotton skirt cartridge pleated to a waistband and a burgundy cotton bodice. The copper trim around the edges is really too expensive for a peasant, but I needed an excuse to buy it. It adds a attractive bit of theatricality to the garment.
