My client custom dyed her own fabric and lining and did a beautiful job. It was left up to me to make the corset.

The hemp cloth was an unusual fabric to work with in a corset. It gave the impression that it was not going to cooperate but ended up being fairly pliant perhaps because I took a few extra precautions to insure it would turn out correctly.

I really love this corset for its unique character. The combination of the rustic hemp cloth, rayon velvet and satin ribbon I think spoke volumes about the woman for whom it was made. I am glad to have contributed to her wedding in my small way.

As with all my corsets, all details and attention go towards ensuring a stable, durable and well made garment.
