Women's Snood

Women's Snood

This is the snood I made to match the Renaissance dress. Again this is one of my earliest costumes and the only picture I still have of it. This snood is an example of design rather than of research. It is not really period, I just thought it would look nice and be easy to wear this way and I made it out of things I had on hand. It is a head band covered with velvet to match the dress. The snood part is made of ecru soutache meshed by hand with pearls. A copper leather braid adorns the front.
