The section dedicated to the San Francisco Opera where I have spent the last 10 years of my costume career will be completed sometime in 2009 since there is much extra work to be done with releases from artist, designers and the company.
In my 10+ years working with the Opera I stitched on 12 shows over 3 seasons. I was a first hand for two more seasons and worked on 9 shows and was then promoted to a cutter. As a cutter I have done five more seasons and supervised all or some of the costumes on over 30 different operas and operettas. Multiply that by the number of performers and costumes per opera and the number of photos and designs that I need to organize is daunting.
